Dai Phillips never thought for one second that everything she had been searching for would come only when she closed her eyes.
Only In Her Sleep follows the story of Dai, a small town girl living in a new town with her aunt. Dai had always been a hopeful romantic, as a little girl she would dream of her prince riding up on a white horse to sweep her off her feet, later when she turned 16 she imagined the boy of her dreams melting her heart but by the time she turned 18 all her dreams were dashed when the guy she fell hard for turned out to be looking for a good time.
Now with her love life upside down and feeling down and betrayed she had decided to give up on ever finding love. What she didn't know was that her love existed but... only in her dreams.

I chuckled slightly and shook my head. "Does that usually work for you? The cute little remarks and that nice smile." I teased. He gave me a sheepish look of surprise. "Most girls would be flattered at my attempt to flirt with them." I scoffed and shook my head. "Well, as a member of the "most girls" community, I can say that I am not." "Wow. That's a bit harsh." And then there's this other guy in her life. They met online by accident and have been talking for months but she's not brave enough to make it something real. Will Ashby is the all-around superstar on campus. He's practically royalty because he's the running back on the Ohio State Football team: one of the best college football teams in America. Will is the person guys want to be and guy girls want to be with. But in actuality, he'd rather blend in with the background noise. His only focus has been football and finishing his degree. That was until he met this girl. He doesn't even know her name or what she looks like, but she's the girl he'd want to be real with.
