The giant war is finally over. Leo is back home where he belongs with Calypso and everyone is happy that their hero Percy is home safe after almost a year of being missing. But, what they don't realize is what is brewing right under their noses. And they never thought Percy and his two cousins would get arrested due to a little monster attack, rendering them helpless and guilty.
Amanda Waller has discovered a group of horrible creatures terrorizing Manhattan. She knows something bigger is happening, she isn't stupid, but she also knows she needs to take action. She discovers three new perfect recruits for Taskforce X and brings them back together once more to save the world.
With the groups united, and with the gods rendered useless due to ancient laws, will they survive and defeat the enemy once again, or finally perish and be overtaken? I guess you have to read to find out....

The New Avenger
Everything's different now, after the Giant War. So even after arriving home Percy can't tell anyone the truth; not his mom, not his new, rather odd, neighbor, not the friends that he's afraid to be close to. But the truth always hurts and somehow, the truth always shows. Maybe it's a good thing that his new neighbor, Peter Parker, is just a little too observant. Or maybe it isn't. Meanwhile the world is changing. New threats have risen and been defeated. But people are disappearing, people are dying. And even the people who are supposed to be heroes can't stop this. But that's sort of the point. Now though the darkness which Peter has always managed to keep at an arm's length is right outside his front door. Right inside it. Peter can't lose anyone else. Percy can't lose anyone else. Both are sure that if they do they're bound to lose themselves. Now though loss isn't and if but a when. Not a when but how much. Neither of them plan on getting out of this one. Both are sure that there must be someone at fault. But innocence and guilt mean nothing in this blame game, because with all this hurt, with all this death, with all this pain, isn't everyone somehow to blame? And maybe they aren't so different, Peter and Percy. Maybe they can find a way to work together, fight together, stop this together. Maybe together they can find a way to get out of this one, find a way to save even those who don't want to be saved. Or maybe they can't.
