Thomas Haynes, a 17 year old teenager in his last year of high school. He's the average teenager. You know, the agile yet non athletic guy, and this is his last time moving. When he was younger as a child, his family moved a lot because of money troubles, mostly from the way the economy is right now. And the economy is pretty screwed up at the moment. Even though he may be the average teenager, he has a secret about himself. He's gay, I know. Pretty shocking, right? 

How will he survive school staying in the closet? Especially when he meets a guy who he likes, who turns out to be a jock, but not a typical jock as everybody thinks, yet a jock who has their own secrets. 

He's going to know that being with a Jock isn't so easy as he figuratively expected. A little fame, a little recognition, that alone isn't going to help Thomas with his grade twelve year as a new student.

Usually, Will would ease right into any situation quickly, but this school isn't like the public school he went to before, and he wasn't completely sure what he thought about his rather attractive, yet super familiar looking classmate. (Side note) This is a fanfic of Popularity by Adam Bagdasarian and this story is just a fun idea me and my friends came up with so I'll see if I continue it as it goes. (Also the cover isn't mine)

So he represses his depressive thoughts, his minor addiction, and his clear suspicions that the path he's headed down has already been set. Now, halfway through his freshman year, he has yet another thing in his life that he needs to repress. Because now, he can't think about his best friend Oliver without his mind filling with all the wrong things. And he is far from okay with it.

His family is broken, his mental health is slowly declining, and he's faced questioning his sexuality. Often left to sit in his bed on his phone most of the day, his reasons to live were slowly declining. Tom thought it was better this way. It was better to not disturb anyone, to wear the same clothes over and over, and to stay boring. All, of course, until Tom met him. Updates every Friday. Then one day, he does somthing that Elliot can't just say was natual, he can't say he saw it coming. He's scared and doesn't know what to do. What will happen if this keeps up?
