With help from a supposed, 'friend' and 'personal manager', you get the band to higher places. You became the lead singer, thus bringing popularity to the group after covers of songs, starting at shady clubs. You come to see the dark side of stardom. You don't want to be a puppet anymore, you want to sing songs for the love of it, not the popularity. Everyone in the band is willing to help you get rid of the contract. How will it end up when many band mates also seem to hold a loyalty for you that is built off of love?
