Ordinary people, taken out of their homes and brainwashed. They awake only to see their lives on the line. "The Hunger Games" they call it; 'they' being the voices announcing the countdowns. The 24 contestants really never thought much about what they were doing. Why are they fighting in the first place? They'd been programmed to not think, just kill. However, when one happens to not have obtained that way of thinking, could he convince the rest of the contestants that killing is wrong too?
