It is now the year 2225 and the Earth has turned more sophisticated than ever. The law systems, technology, and even the civilians have changed drastically from the past. Criminals are now being sent to space station countries known as Isles and given the duty of defending the world from extraterrestrial invasions. No one wants to be "Sent" except Mercy. Mercy Hahn is the most wanted criminal in the world, setting a record of a total 178 crimes and murders. The only thing she ever wanted was being sent to the Isles, and her wish comes true and with it, she drags a young man named Ryker into her problems. Maybe they're just little nuts.

However, not everything is what she thought it would be when she finally finds the island, and her dreams become a harsh reality. Elis turns out to be someone else, and when another man swoops in every time Maxine is in danger, she becomes confused about what love really is. Kathleen had been imprisoned for years. She had no idea who they were or why she was there. Every day for years it had been the same thing. No talking or communicating with her captors after the first year she no longer tried. Getting beaten for making any noise at all. They didn't even speak within hearing distance of her. She was given a book and daily exercise but hadn't seen the sun or outside since she was put in her cell. Until that day when it all changed. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on.
