Every night, after eleven, Kristen Soponoro would venture out into the woods behind her house, for further beyond lay the railroad tracks. The railroad tracks separated two towns that were constantly stuck in a Cold War. Kristen's town, Venillope, was by far the stronger and more civilized town out of the two. It was modern; it was self-efficient. Most of all, it was rich. The bordering town, Knox, wasn't far from the complete opposite. In fact, it is safe to say that it was worse than opposite. Knox is riddled with criminals, thieves, and liars. This town started the war against Venillope almost thirty years before in an attempt to widen their land. The two towns have been at a silent war ever since; they never spoke, never communicated. There was something, or someone special in Knox, however. Jordan Maron was a resident of Knox, though he was far from the normal expectations. He was kind-hearted, selfless, and brave. Jordan was strong, but his crush on the girl in Venillope was even stronger. Kristen. Her name floated around in his head all day, until he snuck out to the railroad tracks to meet her. Everything was fine, until the day someone became suspicious, until the day someone followed Kristen Soponoro. {Jordan Maron does not belong to me, but all of the other characters and places do}
