Daniel Howell has been alone most of his life, his small family his only place to go. Not like that was much of a home either. He comes to the top of the school building rooftop every day at lunch, a bit of sneaking required, and examines the landscape. He loves skies and paints them every chance he gets, inverting them to be imperfect, giving him the little release he needs. But one day a boy hops up on that roof one day as well, calling himself Phil and looking for a release just as Dan was, and ends up turning Dan's world upside down. Dan never felt very good about his art, but maybe, just maybe, Phil can help Dan make the perfect picture.
Trigger Warnings are food, anorexia, bulimia, and anxiety.
