Natsu Dragneel is a famous singer. Natsu was never the sort of guy to "settle down" and now he has to prove to his parents that he can be responsible and have a healthy relationship with a woman.

But things change once he meets Lucy Heartfillia; Lucy was in need of money so she could afford college and pursue her dream job as a writer.

Natsu strikes a deal with Lucy for her to be his fake girlfriend to show his parents that can he can responsible, and if she accepted he would pay for all of her college funds.
