Black Withered Roses

"So... what's your favorite flower?" He asked looking at the different flowers spread out across the different beds.

"Seriously?" She giggled.

"What?" He answered.

"Why would you ask such a stupid question?" She said still giggling.

"Well I mean you have so many, it's hard to tell which one you like best." He replied, silence following soon after.

"Black roses." She said, making the poor boy jump out of his skin as he casted a confused look her way.

"What?" The boy said or asked confused.

"Black roses," She paused casting a glance his way before looking back at the night sky and continuing to speak.

"There my favorite." She ended with a smile.
