Ram Navami importance and puja vidhi

Rama Navami holds great significance in Hindu religion as Lord Rama was born on this auspicious day. Rama Navami is celebrated on the ninth day of the Chaitra month (March-April) in the Hindu calendar and this year it falls on March 25 (08:03 am - 12:55 am). According to the religion, Lord Rama, the seventh avatar of God Vishnu, was born to Ayodhya's King Dasharatha and Queen Kausalya to establish righteousness and destroy the evil.
