During her first week at Barden, Chloe discovers a piece of music that helps give her inspiration for a music assignment she is having difficulty with. Chloe soon meets Beca Mitchell, an aspiring music producer. Beca agrees to help Chloe with her music assignment and the two quickly fall for each other, giving Chloe the rest of the inspiration she needs for her assignment. However, something happens between the two girls, which causes Chloe to stop seeing Beca.
