"What happened?" Her words weak but calming. Her eyes jumping side to side trying to focus. She tried to turn her wounded head to the deed I had committed. I wiped my crimson hand onto my shirt, wiping away that monsters blood from my hand. I placed my hand against her bloodied cheek keeping her focus on me, she couldn't look at him. Or what was left of him.
She couldn't see this side of me, not the evil within me.

Seprina Lakes, a young, somewhat ordinary, woman, although that's what she thought. Her life was filled with regrets and pain, however she never faced it. She had always tried her best to keep going but some how her past caught up with her. Seprina tried to keep her hope even when despair called out for her. A man slipped into her life, helping her through it, but he is no Prince Charming. An attraction that is held within him towards her is beyond comprehension. At least a human's comprehension. He is a being that's willing to do anything to get what he wants. Anything to get her.

The story will be a little different from my original plan from the original book but still the same characters.
