Yes, sounds awesome right? Well, it can be, but it also can't be. She's a metahuman. Yep, you heard right. She was struck with that lighting in the same night Barry Allen was. Then, after the nine months of being in the hospital, she woke up. Then she ran. Her emotions hit, and she temporarily slowed down time in order for her to make a five mile walk in under three minutes. Call it, un-super speed if you'd like. She was confused. She had no clue how that happened, but she had to find how. Now, she was extremely smart. She did research. Then she saw many reports on the news about this man called "The Streak". She thought it was... Odd. The whole concept of superheroes and super humans. It was to unreal and childish for her. She didn't like the title 'superhero'. When Iris and her friend Kamilla return to Central City from a day of reporting in National City, they soon find that things aren't quite right back at home, quickly seeing out how bad things really have gotten when they find all of Team Flash missing, and something terrible now lurking in Star Labs' halls, a villain's return threatening to destroy the team from within. And before long, it soon becomes clear that the only thing standing between the monster's plot and the end of the world, is Iris' connection to her husband. But will it be enough? This eight-part story takes place in Season Six after Crisis, but doesn't have anything to do with the Mirrorverse arc, so... I guess imagine a longer time before that arc's start? (Haha). I had a ton of fun writing this, and put a lot of time and energy into making it, and I'm really proud of how it turned out. I hope you all enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it! In a fight, Barry ends up porting to Earth 38, Kara's Earth.
