Deku has always been the class nerd. From the day he started school, he's been top of his class for, well, pretty much everything. Nothing's ever been different.

Until the midterm scores are revealed, and Deku finds himself placing second behind who else but... Bakugou Katsuki?! The pyromaniac? The guy who spends all his time trying to make vials explode and chemicals set on fire?!

All at once, Deku is devastated, confused and intrigued. Perhaps there's more to this furious blonde than anybody's ever let on before. But how is a nerd like him meant to mingle with the cool kids and get the answers he needs? There's only one way, really.
