A Clato Fan-fiction
In the hunger games Katniss and Peeta were the star crossed lovers from district twelve, but were they the only ones?
This is a story about how Cato and Clove met and became unlikely lovers.
It is mostly written from Clove's POV but there is a couple of POVs from other characters near the end.
I do not own the characters they were made by Suzanne Collins. (obviously)

Clove and Cato's love story

This is a story about Clove and Cato (The tributes from 2), and how life was for them in the District Clove and Cato are training partners at the training center, and get along really well, and become really good friends, but when Cato decided to volunteer to go into The Hunger Games the same year Clove is will they be able to fight each other or will their friendship get in the way of that?? Clove's father turns abusive when her mother dies and when Cato finds out about that, he starts being even more protective of her, and their trainer, the famous Enobaria, finds out about Clove being abused and takes Clove in, and treats her like she is her daughter. Clove Kentwell is supposed to be dead. That is, she thought so until she wakes up in a Capital hospital seemingly unscathed. When she discovers Cato's there as well, along with the other dead tributes, a strange story begins to unravel at her feet. Why would President Snow keep them alive? Why is Cato acting so strangely? As the situation unfolds, Clove finds herself increasingly drawn to Cato in a way she never thought she would get to experience. Will she make good use of her second chance?
