Assassins...

They were used for both good and bad. The good killed criminals that deserved it. The bad killed anyone that was requested to be killed. The two main assassins of each group hated each other. Then, one day, they stopped. A friendship unfolded between two sworn enemies. 

And then they ended up facing a new threat. One that could tear them apart physically and mentally. Would they make it through? Or would one succumb to the new threat?

In this book, follow the story of Shade  (the "bad" assassin) and River (the "good" assassin) as they struggle through their lives. Death, murder, and deception plague everywhere they tread. Neither really knows if they can trust the other. River has anger outbursts over the slightest mistake and Shade makes a lot of mistakes. But somehow they survive as partners (as in assassin partners).

When Denise (the truly bad assassin) shows up in their town, things take a turn for the worst. Denise knows River's weakness and uses it against her in battle. And Shade isn't able to defeat her alone. So what will happen when Denise decides to confront them and get the battle over with?All Rights Reserved

People ran everywhere, screaming and yelling for their lost family and friends. But Mercy continued running... she had to. Until she saw a little girl, no older than seven, sitting in front of a burning building, crying. Mercy slowed, then with hesitation, walked over to the girl, avoiding being seen by the raiding party. "Whats the matter with you? You need to get out of the open." She told her. "But- but i don't know where my mommy is." The little girl sobbed. Although Mercy had lost her mother when she was fourteen, she still remembers the feeling of helplessness. "Alright. Come on... Let's go try to find your mom." She sighed. A raider was drawing closer to them, so they had to hurry... and Mercy knew it. "Run." She whispered to the girl, who was oblivious to the approaching attacker.

Or will they both get their happy endings? This is an actual book that I am writing and I just thought that I should put it here and see what people think of it.
