Warning⚠️
This story contains suicide and swearing.

The story of Riley and why she committed suicide.

To her it was simple, there was no other option, it was supposed to happen.

Until she meets- who she doesn't want to admit is- the love of her life. Until she has a reason to stay.

Maybe it wasn't supposed to happen. Maybe she didn't have to do it. Maybe she could live happily ever after.

But in the end it was inevitable. Right?

I don't know how it happened, I don't know where it began and I don't know when it ends. We met on an app, we were never meant to be such close friends, but we were, maybe even more. We grew close, yet we were strangers at the same time. You were my shoulder to cry on even though you were rarely there physically. I told you my secrets, but I was so caught up in the thought of finally having someone there for me that I never realized the fact that you never told me yours. When we first met we were inseparable. We weren't meant to be more than just acquaintances, but somehow, we grew closer and I got attached. I tried to stay away, I tried to keep my distance, but I was clouded by the fact that I wanted- needed a friend. The walls I spent so long building up, you knocked them down so easily, that it looked almost effortless. I fooled myself into thinking that you would always be there, that you were different from everyone else, that you wouldn't leave like them, that you wouldn't drop me like I was nothing. Foolish girl. We grew closer, I got attached and somewhere along the way, I fell in love. You never loved me the way you loved her, did you? Was I just a broken toy you wished to fix? Did you pity me, the lonely girl that barely survived the world? Why did you leave? I wake up one morning and you're gone. Gone from my life, from my mind, from my memory. Please tell me why. Why was this our falling out? Please tell me. What was it, the words you continue to whisper to me before I close my eyes?

"She's right! She's right! I don't cut in the right spot." My hold tightens on my wrist. The red blood oozes out of my wrist. I slide up and grab my bag and run out of the bathroom. I don't care if people can see the blood I just want to get out. I race for the doors and shove through people. I earn a lot of glares and glances that read "weirdo." I ignore and push. I run to my house and lock myself in my bathroom. I don't bother closing the front door cause I don't care if people come in to kill me. I grab my razor and cut deep cuts into my arm and wrists falling into a pool of my own blood. • • • Evangeline has a great life. Friends? Check! Good grades? Check! Loving family? Check! Don't say I didn't warn you. Okay, I wrote this at the start of this year (may 2016) and I had very poor writing skills. This book hasn't been edited and the whole idea is cliche so I wouldn't recommend you read it but I'm not stopping you, either. Read at your own risk. • • • Copyright © 2017 by -moonlust. ❝People like you don't get happy endings, not after that.❞ **** Childhood best friends Étienne LeRoy and Louella Rey were once inseparable-two halves of a perfect whole. When Étienne returns home after a year abroad, he barely recognizes the girl he used to know. Lou's spark is gone, replaced by hollow eyes and a fragile shell of who she used to be.
