Mature
Ever since the war, modifications, or robotic alterations to the body, became the most desirable items on the market for about a decade before they were pulled back down from the death rate they caused and how much they were affecting the economy. During that decade, children were forced to undergo experiments and tests to see if they were worthy. Even then, only one out of twenty passed. Then only one in ten people who got them survived. Those who live to tell the tale are called the Elite, physically and mentally advantaged people who were sent to the battlefield to die... and sometimes, other uses.

Elliott, the seemingly naive and ordinary child, was taken and modified without consent. As one of the only people to survive the radioactive traces left in his hometown and the devastating virus, he was recognized as naturally selected. He was meant to be a secret weapon for war, but he had other plans. After he had escaped to Scorpio, the rebellious organization hoping to put an end to the Republic, he met Makoto, perhaps the only person he could ever care about again.

Eric, the seemingly spoiled rich kid with a knack for biology, has a secret. He works as a hitman in his father's agency, and has killed hundreds. He lives a (mostly) ordinary life, however, he's unknowingly one of the Elite, one of the most powerful modified people in the world. When he gets recruited into Scorpio, he's torn between two worlds. Does he help his newfound family destroy all he's ever known or rat them out to protect where his loyalties once lied?
