My life was never easy i went through crazy shit within my life it just got harder and harder I never thought it was gonna get easier but things take time and hopefully it'll get better... right?

Everyone suffered through hard times in the COVID years. Olivia, on the other hand suffered through everything. She felt like the universe targeted her, and that she would never get a good ending. Her hope that things would get better was fading by the day. Did she do something wrong? She must have done something to deserve such punishments. Well, at least that is what she believes. After the loss of her beloved younger sister, she needed to step up. But what she wasn't prepared for was having to protect her little brother from her own parent. Feeling lost, and never feeling the comfort of a home, will Olivia be able to break her bad luck? "Because maybe all along I am the reason everyone else had to start suffering in 2019."

There were not many things that I knew much about but pain... Pain I knew. I understood it and its various types. Emotional pain as time dragged by, physical pain I felt when my mate had sex with another woman, when different men had come, nightly beatings, mental pain when he played tricks, when I realized no one from my pack was looking for me. Worse pain... knowing that I was here paying for another person's actions and my children were paying too. Yeah... I knew pain.

Pain That's all Casey can remember. Having to constantly bounce from foster house to foster house, Casey has had to endure so much pain. Physically and emotionally. And having to protect her littler brother from those things is causing even more. What if one day, her little brother utters those words? Those words that should never be spoken? Words that your taught to never say? The words that lead you to the Devil himself. I believe.

Life isn't easy. Never has been, never will be. If someone tells you their life is easy then they are lying because everyone has something going on in their life that makes it harder. My life is definitely not easy. There are times when things are good but life is never easy. This is my story... **** A/N: Not actually about me, this is not a real book and definitely not about me. I'm not the best writer but I enjoy writing. If there are any mistakes then I am sorry and hopefully I will fix them but no guarantees. I'm not very good at descriptions but a lot happens in the book so up to you if you read it or not.

When your entire life and identity have revolved around this one thing for so long... what do you do you have left of yourself when that one thing is over? Or... an 8th year story addressing the aftermath of the war and what it means to realize you've lost everything in the process of winning. But maybe it's all just part of the process of becoming who you were meant to be. Gave it a mature rating for language and themes, but there are no graphic descriptions of anything.
