An Army of Mistakes

Ben and Scarlet cross fell and love and got married in a matter of 3 years, and 3 days after their nuptials, Ben drops a bomb that he is joining the US army. Scarlet lost her father to army life and she refuses to lose Ben to it too. She gives him an ultimatum, her or the army. He chooses the army. Three weeks after Ben leaves to join the army, Scarlet gets news that has her begging for mercy. Ben's Missing In Action and is presumed dead. Five years later, Scarlet has barely begun the process of moving on with her life, when lo and behold, her supposedly dead, kind-of husband, shows up on their front doorstep.
