It all started when a black cat appeared. The cat was small and looked innocent enough, so following the little feline wouldn't be so bad right? Either way someone followed the cat and ends up finding a purse in the middle of the woods. The purse looked like it was well kept so taking it home and keeping it sounded like a good idea. So when the owner of the purse appears boy does it get awkward!

Being Head Witch of an entire city is less leader-ing than the job title would have one think; it's more a fine blend of disciplinary work, keeping the entire 'magic thing' under wraps, vetting new witches and directing them to the guidance they need, and keeping track of magic layering tomes. And goddamn it all, her partner just managed to disappear at the wrong time; right after finding and apprehending a particularly violent newfound witch flexing his newfound magic, and right before it was time to take care of the tome that caused it all. I step towards the sound and find two green eyes staring up at me belonging to a black cat. It's coat drenched and it's whiskers drooping low. Like it's frowning. Even in my damp mood I feel sorry for the little animal. "You don't have a home, little guy?" I ask, squatting to see it better. Did it just shake its head!? I blink a few times and sigh. I'm probably seeing things. It's been overwhelmingly negative lately. I reach a hand for the feline and it corresponds, tucking its head under it. I pet it's wet coat and stare at it as it closes its eyes. I can't leave such a pitiful thing next to the dumpsters and cold rain to be frozen alive or ravished by stray dogs. So I do what every human being would do in my situation, I take it home. And that was possibly the stupidest thing I've ever done. *** This is a story about a girl named Lucky. But of course she's everything but lucky. One day she comes across this odd feline who acts strangely like a human. Maybe he is really a human and Lucky has got her hands into a whole lot of trouble.
