A young Ōmaran Warrior is sent in to assassinate the royal family of Kaīawehn, when she discovers that her mission might not be exactly what she had been promised. Instead of fooling a middle aged couple with no children, she finds a strong family. One that is fully capable of destroying the lies of the Ōmaran empire.
Katīa, the dog of the Ōmaran military, is forced to play nice in order to infiltrate the royal family. However, she is far from prepared for what will be facing her as she draws closer to the secrets of the royal family and what it is that they've done.
Well on her way to completing her mission, having infiltrated the royal chambers, and gained the Raīja and Reīma's trust. She is found out by a secret member of the royal household. One that isn't easily persuaded, and doesn't like to let go of what he has.
The man is stubborn, persuasive, and nothing like what she had imagined she would find. And she despises every second of it. He plays nice, and offers to help her. However, only one question seemed to be playing at the back of her mind.
For what purpose would he help an Ōmaran assassin?
