As she recited her poem my eyes expand to the size of two glazed donuts (God why didnt I eat earlier), this is the same shy  girl who walked into my mom's coffee shop, yet she seemed really different as she perfomed on stage. And then i'm violently ripped out of my thoughts, when she does something completly unexpected, my heart drops at the sound of her angelic voice sing the A-team by Ed Sheeran"    What exactly does  reserved, die-hard romantic, and music enthusiast Rebel Donabane, have in common with assertive, mysterious, and charming Kingsley Rosario? Absolutly nothing. She's black, he's white. She's sweet, he sees the bad in everyone. She's an outcast, he couldn't be more outgoing if he tried. Of course he's not into the social cliques and hangs out with the fun and kind-hearted, but still manage to be delinquents Kaleb, Russell, Donovan, Luke, and Miles, while she only has two close friends. Clementine Chestnut, and Carter Isley. But somehow they both seem to get along, like yin and yang. Him being Dark and mischevious, and her being Light and too good its disgusting. Weird how it works..but it just does. And it all started in a coffee shop.   Authors Note: Guys im really sorry, this will be my first book, and i want to see how it goes, not the greatest at descriptions, so read it and tell me how you feel Loves!!!

My Girl

Cal Jackson's new life as a rockstar fails to account for one thing: the existence of the girl he loves. ***** "What are you thinking about?" she asks. "A song," I say. "A new song." I stare at the ocean as I sing the song that I wrote, something that comes from the darkest place of my heart. "Do you even know how gifted you are?" she whispers. "You're destined to be someone big, Cal." "Really?" "Yeah." ***** She's perfect in every way. Beautiful. Smart. Her bright future is right there in front of her eyes. While here I am. Ruined. No college, let alone a future. Just an image of a wannabe rockstar with tattoed arms and an old guitar. I knew that our story would be no less than that tragic Romeo and Juliet shit the moment I laid my eyes on her, but still, I can't resist her. The moment she whispers my name, "Cal," I lose all sanity. She becomes my melody, my lyrics, the song that keeps echoing in my ears. People call her Mia. I call her my Amy, her name crafted above my beating heart, tattoed on my skin. Amelia Davis is my girl. Mine. And only mine. ***** THE JACKSONS BOOK #1 © 2021 Anya Jayvyn. All Rights Reserved.
