Cliche title, but I have a reason for it This AU is set in the late 90's-Early 2000's btw John has been blind all his life. He's gotten used to the near constant teasing, taunting and bullying for having to bring his service dog, Philip, everywhere. He wasn't expecting anyone to bug him that fateful day at the library, but meeting Alex was probably the best moment of his life. Alex has lived in the Caribbean all his life, and has just recently raised enough money to be able to go to America. He passed the entrance exam to King's College with such astounding scores that he got in full scholarship. He wasn't expecting to run into anyone that fateful day at the library, but meeting John was probably the best thing that ever happened to him.
