"I absolutely loathe Minaduki Rui." ~ Kuramochi Mamiko

For ten years straight, Kuramochi Mamiko has always been placed second in the piano competitions she has participated in. The main cause of this was Minaduki Rui, who has competed in every competition that she has and successfully combed first place every single time. This has led to Mamiko holding a lifetime grudge against him as she hopes to put a halt to his winning streak for the past ten years.

However, Mamiko bumps into Rui in a cafe, only to learn that he was short of cash to pay for his bill. Despite not favouring the young man, she still filled the tab for him out of pity for the poor cashier who had failed to sort the matter out with Rui alone. Their story blossoms when Rui finds Mamiko at her school to repay her for helping him out previously.

Which path will the relationship between these two rivals take as Mamiko's hate for Rui soon changes to something else?
