The Gods of the elements made the ultimate sacrifice to save the Earth from the Zwani. A bug like creature that destroys everything in its path. Now from the heavens, they must find a mortal to share their power. But finding them is the easy part. Convincing young adults of monsters and magic is no easy feat. But together they MUST defend the Earth from a reminiscence of the Zwani, and keep themselves alive as well. Something's coming, something big.

The Forest
Ernwood Forest is home to people living hidden from the prying eyes of humans; the Winged and their tribes. These people stand no taller than a few centimetres off the ground, meaning that things can sometimes get a little difficult... especially when humans are involved. But life isn't all bad. For the first time ever, Azure and the tribes have a human of their own protecting them from the sinister forces beyond the edge of the trees. As the months of winter roll in, nights are growing longer and snow has settled on the leafless branches. The forest is still. The only humans anyone expects to see are the few that know of the tiny people's existence. But the tribes are not alone in the forest anymore. The abductions begin. The past awakens. And a long forgotten shadow falls over the forest. Azure and the others once again find themselves having to fight to prevent their family from being ripped apart- only this time, things are different. The Lost

The Winged
Surviving can be difficult when you're only a few inches tall. Fanged beasts see you as their prey, every creature is bigger than you, and the world seems to work against small things. The sun warms the leaves and the damp melts away until the world of the Winged flourishes. Those warm months are when survival becomes the hardest. Drawn by the beauty of the forest, humans of all kind invade the already dangerous home of the small Winged people. Fear of these monsters is shared throughout the tribes. One sacred piece of advice is known: avoid humans at all costs. Things can be tough in a world so much bigger than you, but the tribes are strong and protect the tiny people against all dangers. Even humans. Three tribes. Only three. That is the truth everyone knows. Until Rosin discovers that what she grew up believing doesn't even scratch the surface of what's out there in the forest. --- Rosin Magnolia hates people. The safe refuge everyone around her calls 'home' feels like a prison to her- so when she learns that there are other tribes somewhere in the forest, the decision to leave is hardly a choice. She makes it her mission to search the woodlands and bring the lost tribes together. But to do that, she'll have to leave her own tribe behind... which means leaving the people she loves most in the world. The forest is rife with predators. Beasts like humans; towering beasts that prowl through the trees without care or concern for the life they might trample. Leaving might just turn out to be a suicide mission.
