Everyone thinks that Lance McClain is just a happy flirty teen.  He actually puts on that act. He don't want people to know that he is depreesed. Even though he is depressed he wants to get better and doesn't want depression to take over his life. One day  his friends finds out about his depression and they want to help him get better even though it will take a long time!
