Before the murder of their parents, Aldona and Regina Firemane were happy. But all happiness was sucked away when a demon came and took over the Vilnius Insitute. Aldona and Regina ended up being separated. Aldona suffering from an addiction that is slowly killing her every day. While Regina is suffering vampirism. Both girls thought that everyone they have ever loved including each other had died.

As Aldona moves to live in the New York Institute. She notices that people who are supposed to be dead are alive and young. There she also meets someone that can help her fight through the addiction.

And Regina finds someone to help her with the pain of living forever.

With both girls dealing with different changes, will they come together to face the real threat that haunts both their dreams?
