A/N-TRIGGER WARNING: When I started writing this book all I knew was I was going to contribute to the LGBT community by putting a nonbinary character as the lead, something not usually done. I didn't know that as I wrote I would also begin to introduce other injustices and hardships I have encountered as an activist, but it feels very right, even though it's hard to write. This does however mean that it comes with some hard topics, namely homophobia, transphobia, abuse, and racism (maybe will be added to later). I am doing research as I write to be accurate and clear, but by no means can I claim to be an expert on any of this as a cis, white teenager living in a white, rich, town, even as a member of the LGBT community and a female. Thus, if information is inaccurate, or I am writing in an offensive way to a member of the community being represented, please let me know and I will do my best to correct the mistake. I never intend to harm or diminish the problems of anyone facing discrimination, hate, and injustices in this world.

This is basically a book that means a lot to me. Black Veil Brides practically raised me and though a little cliche, saved my life. Then Halsey was introduced into my life and I learned to understand myself and accept who I was, what I was, and all of the present tense versions.
