This was not the plan. Not the plan at all. Not only did the stupid couple forget, but now they have to fight over the custody, too? This was not how she planned her life to turn out at all.
The modern world has its perks, but with every pro is two more cons. For example, a witch's lifespan is now as long as a human's, and while that's great for witches falling for humans, it's not so fun for the rest of them.
They even have the Magic User Council (MUC for short), yet for some reason, half the people in there are non-users. Because of that, many new laws were passed for the magic users, from magic restriction to segregation in certain areas.
It's especially hard for the witches nowadays since they're all sterile, and the art of "Firstborn Promise" is getting harder and harder to perform ever since they passed that new regulation...
