Once upon a time, there was a pretty young girl that had no clue that werewolves and vampires and what not existed. And then a werewolf bit her. That's where the similarities between Annabeth Moonlight and what she believes to be the "fairy tale world" end. And just as she thinks everything is going perfectly, a man from her (very recent) past shows up and turns everything around. And he happens to be another mate. But a werewolf can only ever have one mate at any given time, as Annabeth has learned. So one is real, and the other is faking it, to put it simply. So now, she also has to figure out which one is "good" and which one is "bad". Just freaking great. And, just after she does that, she gets caught up in a war. (Well, technically, she starts the war, but let's not get caught up in the technicalities, shall we?)
