This is the second book to "The Golden Eyes Series".
Before reading this book, please read the first book "The Golden Eyes".

Bonds are what make us and yet break us all together.  Suffering from loss and defeat, Mayumi Suzuki is back a few years older ready to take on the challenges life brings her.

With being mentored by Toshiko Senju, she becomes more aware and understanding of love and life becoming levelled with herself.

She patches relationships with her friends, creates new bonds, and even starts the journey of love with her special one.

...But Dark truths are revealed and Mayumi breaks.  She commits to crimes off of revenge, grows vulnerable, and the cycle of her clan breaks as the death of a close one occurs before her eyes.
