I was was confused at first but when he called out the Rank, I was sure it was me. Everything seemed to go silent, but I could see them cheering for me. I didn't see the rest of the Chosen, because I had jolted into my room. I didn't need to see anyone else right now. My life was going to change because of this.

Alice April - The type of girl that stays for the food though the Selection itself gave her no joy. Especially when she stumbled upon the discovery of an illness she developed. Not to mention the boy she was supposed to win the heart of, a childhood friend of hers and an annoyingly narcissistic prince are all in a similar Selection. Their aim: Her heart.
