Alex Hayes is just an average 25 year old woman...who just so happens to make a living by playing video games in her apartment and posting them on YouTube. Alex has the largest grossing YouTube channel in Canada, that's quite an accomplishment. She's got just over 4,000,000 subscribers and even more video views. Known as 'Nova' to her viewers, Alex covers mainly Minecraft but also console games and cosplay, lots of cosplay. She says that the only reason she started gaming was because of the Yogscast. They inspired her to make her own channel: Nova Gaming, original right? So when the hard working Vancoverite meets her idols at Vancouver Rezzed, Alex is overjoyed and a bit nervous.
