"Gihigugma ko ikaw." Saad ko habang nakayakap sakanya. Alam kong hindi nya naintindihan ang sinabi ko kaya panatag kong sinabi yun.
"Gihigugma ko rin ikaw." Napakalas ako sa pagkakayakap ng marinig ko ang sinabi nya.
"Alam mo ibig sabihin nun?" Tumango lang sya. "Paano mo nalaman?"
"Kay mama, tinanong ko kasi kung anong ibig sabihin ng I love you sa cebu." Napatakip ako ng mukha dahil alam kong namumula ito. Pero tinanggal nya ang mga kamay ko at hinawakan nya ang aking pisngi.
"Gihigugma ko ikaw Jade."
