Addresses, from all who exclaimed they were close to the dueler, Carys Vaughan, who previously was known to be 'a deatheater' to all; congratulations were handed out left, right and center for her first born. Nobody could have been more proud of the girl that her boyfriend, Romney Vaughan -the guy who joked they were already married, in the second year, for having the same surname.

Nevertheless, the energy-couple began their title in 1978; ending in 1986, when unfortunately, Romney Vaughan passed away from a fatal heart attack. Carys was left devasted, breaking down at the mention of her surname quoting her husband from the second year, almost every time. Years on end, she couldn't bring herself to smile unless her daughter came up with a whacky saying or something utterly bizarre.

Dueling came to a halt not wanting to risk her life for the sake of competition, her daughter's life came first, and she wasn't going to let her go on without any parents.

Until Dumbledore contacted; leaving an exciting Betrys Vaughan, who so desperately wanted to visit Hogwarts earlier than she should have.
