The Necromancer (more commonly known as The Second Voltron) is a giant robot made out of five mechanical wolves that was created with the help of King Alfor, just in case Voltron fell.
When the first Wolf was found on Earth by a group of four teenagers and a 23-year-old security guard, the Prince of Terrenis (who's father built the Wolves with the help of King Alfor) knew something was wrong.
(Description is kinda a work in progress)
(This is kinda like an AU where the end fight of s2 never happened, and neither did any of the seasons after that)

A Experiment escapes from Hoover Dam, two years later, Sam buys a car with his adopted younger sister, Matsuri. After he bought the car, weird things starts to happen. The legendary defender of the universe has gotten 5 new paladins to fight the new threat of the galaxy. All five are different and unique, none know the dangers they are going to face. Knowing that they are the universes last hope, will they be able to put their differences aside and form Voltron? Will they be able to save the universe? We do not own the show Voltron Legendary Defenders nor the characters from that show. We have made our own characters for this while using the original from the show. Not everything is exactly as it is in the show, we've changed a few things to better suit us. This is just a fun story idea we created a few years ago and are still currently writing. What is Voltron meant for? King Alfor was the creators of the Lions of Voltron. He told everyone across the Universe that they would be safe from the reign of tyranny as long as they kept faith in Voltron. That's exactly what they did. The people of the universe believed in Voltron. That is what Voltron was made for. To keep people safe! Not to use a weapon to destroy the universe. The day Alfor saw his best friend and leader became corrupted he knew what he had to. He wasted no time! King Aflor built another Lion. One that is opposite to the Black Lion. The White Lion. The White Lion was never used. The only reason the king made it was as a backup. But he also made it with two functions. The White Lion was the heart of Voltron. It guided Voltron. Actually a few people did hear about this so called White Lion and started looking for it. When they find it.....let's just say it didn't end well. Only the purest, kindness, and most gentle of souls could pilot The White Lion. That is also what the White Lion is the pure part of Voltron. To find someone like that is difficult to find.
