Sleepless hours

So I have some times when I can't sleep at night and they happen alot. During those times at night to put myself to bed, I make up a story. For this story I thought of my favorite insomniac and said why not. So how about a story about deathnote but somewhat different from others, at least in my opinion. I'm trying something new for this story so hear me out, plus I'm not sure where to go with the others.
