She looked up at me, right in the eye and spoke without missing a beat. "Because of who you are or what you did?"

I fell silent. I really didn't know anymore. 

She chuckled to herself. "Family probables too I see"

"Oh you have no idea"

She turned to open ocean. "Why don't you tell me over coffee?"

I shrugged. I couldn't believe this was happening. "Sure. Why not?"

"Because I could poison it?" She spoke in such a way I was only hoping that she was joking. But from what I've seen today I knew my better hope was that she didn't see a reason to be telling the truth.
