First time feelings flit like butterflies and sting like bees. The first crush-which should really be called "crash" since we all crash and burn. The first kiss. The first fight. The first time you danced without injury. The first time you met the parents. Splicketly Love wants all the "firsts" flash fiction for our February issue.
Special Request: Splickety Love seeks strong, independent heroines with unique voice and a fond quirkiness. Also, we'd like to see more heroes than hunks. So, cut back on physical attraction and amp up the action and dialogue. "Firsts" tend to be gushy. Instead of kisses, try creating an inside joke for your couple. (You'll get brownie points.)"
Each short story entry is based off this contest, and I hope they spark interest as you read them.

As she screamed out for help from anybody. Until she was recused by a familiar friendly face that's been in her life since the day she married her Husband. But when they reached the hospital, it was far too late to save Rini's life, she was gone leaving behind a brokenhearted mother and Serenity wanted justice for this. Serenity strikes out for revenge and files for divorce and wants to take everything they love. They had taken her daughter from her. Her death happened because her father abandoned Rini for another woman and child who wasn't even trapped or hurt. So, Serenity wants to make Amber pay for everything. Darien too would get what's coming to him. She was pissed and she had no reasons to hold back her own rampage for revenge. So, Serenity strikes out for revenge. Will she ever be able to love again?
