Ember has always known she was different to others of her race. The bright red hair, the yellow eyes and the annoying mark on her wrist that burns were proof enough of that.
Yet things start to get worse for her when a mysterious hooded man, takes her big brother and sister and unlocks her hidden magic. Magic that should be extinct, that was feared and destroyed.
But that doesn't matter, not to her. She is set with a race against time. A race to save all those she cares for, both new and old friends, but most importantly, a race to discover herself and control her new found magical abilities, before she becomes the reason their lives end, before she comes the cause of her homes destruction.

What if Mk were younger in the show than in canon like 7-10, things would be different and interactions would change. Mk would of been found by Pigsy and Tang a few years before canon at around 2, Mei will act as an older sister knowing him through Tang when she was in 13 or 15.
