Freshman in the arts department Yachi Hitoka moves to Tokyo for collage. She thinks everything is fine, everything is dandy; the landlady is nice and polite, her neighbor right across the hall seems nice, too-- or so she thinks.

Third year in the science department, Kuroo Tetsurou devotes his year to his club.. And also in trying to survive and not be caught by the police as he steals every other day to keep himself in check. Though he thinks that his new neighbor across the hall is starting to become suspicious; he thinks that she has every right to be.
