In the Given series we get to know Mafuyu Sato's tragic past with his childhood friend/lover. This is just my own original character fanfic about a girl that was also his childhood friend. It's a short one shot about love, betrayal and pain. There are triggers about sexual abuse, physical abuse and suicide. Mika Ito is the original character. A young girl who is abused by her father, she meets the boys the same day they meet (ya know what I mean). Her feelings grow for Mafuyu more than friendship and she confesses to him. Her first love was just using her to get back at his ex who he still had feelings for, when he 'confessed' to her. Then at last she found someone she loves who loves her back for who she truly is but in the end, he dies.... Finally she comes to the conclusion that she is cursed, She can't fall in love with anyone and if she does... Well you know how it ends. She meets the ghost who had cursed her and finds out that in order to break the curse she must go back to her grandma's house and be a priest. When she gets there and meets the ghost, she is informed that she has two choices.
