The majority of the quotes are from the movie. All of the characters belong to Ms. Collins. Maddie is the only character that is my original. All of her thoughts are also original. Set in an alternate future where the government rules over all and those who don't follow the status quo are sent to a prison called the Camp to work hard labor, rumors of rebellion are quickly taking root. Nor has lived in a Citadel orphanage for thirteen years after she was separated from her family during the last rebellion against the government. Though the rebels may have failed all those years ago, they have suddenly returned with increasing numbers and support. Nor doesn't believe that the rebel's agenda is to liberate the people, but something far more sinister. Her suspicions are soon confirmed, and she is forced to flee for her life.
