A simple, humorous yet gritty coming of age story set within the British teen community during the dramatic summer of 1974 in Cyprus. 15 year old Alex's long time crush on Kate comes to a conclusion, but only after escalating tension with her current (older) boyfriend who, of course hates Alex, their rival groups ultimately clashing at the top of the Troodos Mountains during a teenage rite of passage.

All of which takes place in the year in which the Cypriot Government is overthrown in a military coup, the island is invaded by Turkey and the lives of Cypriots are changed forever. 

Amidst this chaotic and tragic background the  story revolves around the lives and challenges faced by Alex, Kate and the rest of the teenage community living in the large British Military community in Cyprus.All Rights Reserved
