Tessa Williams is only 16 when her mentally unstable Uncle sets fire to their apartment. 30 floors of apartments filled with fuel for the fire. Tessa has to jump out her window and lands on a landing pad from the firefighters. On the outside, she looks fine, but her insides are incredible. Shortly after she wakes up, she immediately takes off, Tessa doesn't like hospitals very much. After a friend offers her to stay at his apartment, she retreats to the rougher streets of Midtown Manhattan, where dangers lurk everywhere. She may just find out her powers before she wants to.
