Sometime in the distant future, three young Niches discover a secret that changes their understanding of death and rebirth. With no one to trust, not even the elders, Nilo, Zella, and Pila leave the only home they know to travel to the haunting world of death, Thelexia. 

Anizia isn't a Niches or even a pilgrim from another planet living on Niche. Though she may be trapped on her own planet, she knows she is destined to repair the relationship between the Niches and the Lexians. Her people deserve better, even if it means exposing the Thelnians.
