It is, in fact, a training ground facility for young individuals that were bequeathed with or developed Arcanum一an ability that transcends what is deemed normal, or in most cases, human. The ideal place for people with Arcanum who are seeking guidance, and someplace they belong.

That is, until they learn more of the mysteries that were concealed beyond its towering walls. But even after realizing the fact, fleeing seems almost impossible with the vicious rules and never-ending quests. The dwellers of Basiliskos have already given up the thought of freedom. It's difficult enough for them to stay alive and unharmed.

Despite that, none of the deaths were significant until the death of a dweller from the House of Corvus. Someone who is endowed with an Arcanum close to immortality was killed.
