How cliche can you be to fall for your best friend? How cliche can you be to fall for your best friend, who's a guy, when you are also a guy?Logan Reese Buchanan is one of the three captains of an undefeated lacrosse team in California. His lifelong best friend Tony, is also a captain, and also the guy he's head of cleats for. When Logan comes out to his teammates after practice, Tony, is angry and feels betrayed. But Tony accepts Logan because after all it's is his best friend and he realizes nothing can change that.
But what happens when Tony starts to actually get the hots for Logan?
Something completely cliche of course...

WARNING AND NOTES: I wrote this a very long time ago. I know the dialogue in the beginning of the novel is hard to get through. If you continue to read through you can see how my writing has changed. I plan on editing this later on during my college summer break.

Secondly. I am not my characters, especially the ignorant side-characters. The comments of the characters show the ignorance of THE CHARACTERS, not of me. LGBTQ people often must deal with uneducated ignorant people. I in no way shape or form agree with homophobic or transphobic slurs and comments. I am an educated leader and friend to those in my life who need it.

Thank you :)

I'm Finn Vasco but that's not quite important right now. I'm a pretty sarcastic guy if I'm gonna be honest. I'm closed off and I literally only have one friend. I might hate everybody in my school... but there's this guy there. He's... let's say, dreamy, someone who I thought would never even acknowledge my existence. That guy who was too damn good to be true, who was too good for me, who was too good for... everybody! You get what I'm trying to say. He's that cliché king of the campus and a popular and attractive heartthrob and with just one wink, he can send people on their knees... That sounded so wrong, anyway. So can you blame me for being over the moon when one day, he approached me only to what? ...To ask for my help courting my freaking best friend. I knew it was stupid for me to hope I'd even have any chance with him anyway. So I just agreed to help him. Even if I was hurting myself and potentially my best friend in the process, my best friend who has been there with me through the thick and thins, I still did it... I mean what could go wrong besides literally everything? So my plan was to just set my crush and my best friend up, and then everything would be alright... right? But of course, life doesn't like it when people have it easy. *** Highest Ranking #2 on #lgbtfiction #5 on #boyxboy #6 on #gay #8 on #teenfiction *** ~ WARNING: This story contains strong language and bullying. If you're not a fan of LGBTQ+ stories or BXB stories, then this story is not for you. ~ If you're gonna plagiarize, you might as well just put your clown outfit on.

In the day-to-day trenches of high school, it is almost the default-setting to believe we are the main character of our own coming-of-age story. This is not wrong. It's just ours isn't the only story there is. The jocks, the nerds, the cheerleaders, the losers, the stoners, the fangirls, the skaters. Everyone's the realest most important person in existence, all of them, at the same time, first-person narrators to their own stories, stumbling into each other's plot lines, defying the status-quo, catalysts to ups and downs. A deconstruction of all the high school tropes and cliches written over the years, a deep-dive into the psyche of students trying to finish high school while going through irrevocable self-discovery, the most improbable of connections, and the insufferable pains of growing up.
